“La fine della seconda stagione segna una svolta nella relazione tra i nostri beniamini. Sarah è ad un passo dall’abbandonare tutto, seguire i suoi sentimenti per Chuck ed avere una vita normale.
Chuck, ignaro di cosa provi davvero Sarah, scarica l’intersect 2.0 nella sua testa convinto che diventando una vera spia darà un senso alla propria vita e conquisterà la donna dei suoi sogni.
L’inizio della nuova stagione ci offre un concentrato di emozioni, con Sarah che chiede al “suo” Chuck di seguirla, di fuggire con lei per avere una nuova vita insieme, dimostrando così che i suoi sentimenti sono reali e profondi. Chuck accetta ma prenderà in seguito una decisione che lo allontanerà dalla donna che ama, sprofondandolo nella disperazione. Così in questo inizio stagione, ci viene mostrata l’altra faccia dell’amore: l’amore tanto intenso da far male. Chuck senza Sarah non riesce ad essere ciò che vuole, mentre con lei accanto riesce a fare cose impossibili all’apparenza. Di contro, Sarah non riesce più a mentire, nè a se stessa né agli altri sui suoi veri sentimenti, ma ha sofferto e sa che per continuare a fare il suo lavoro di proteggere e guidare Chuck deve tenerli a freno, o “seppellirli in un posto profondo”. I due proseguono la loro storia ripartendo da un’amicizia ma con la consapevolezza di provare qualcosa di intenso e reale l’uno per l’altra. Cercheranno di andare avanti gestendo questo bagaglio di emozioni. Il fatto, poi, di lavorare fianco a fianco, giorno dopo giorno, renderà le cose sempre più interessanti ed in continua evoluzione.”

Chuck: Sarah, I don’t want to regret not telling you everything I need to tell you. Look, I’m not a normal spy, you know that, I know that. I’m a regular guy who works at a Buy More and the decision that I made in Prague I know what it looks like. I know it looks like I chose being a spy over being with you, but that’s not what happened.
